INTRODUCTION
txtjock.com is a web based text messaging platform developed by H.A.S. Communications, Corp.. (HAS) It has been designed from the ground up to support very large text messaging communities and has been created specifically for use in the Philippines, by local radio and TV broadcast networks.

This document includes a simplified list of txtjock service features that may be used by prospective broadcasters when reviewing and selecting a text messaging service provider.


BACKGROUND
Research on txtjock.com began back in 1998, when some of the first text messaging services were being deployed in the Philippines. HAS was one of the first to market in this exciting new field, developing and operating real-time text messaging applications that include both interactive and push messaging capabilities, on all local wireless networks.

The txtjock.com development team is lead by a senior telecommunications consultant with over 16 years experience in wireless value added services, and includes a number of highly specialized local staff with experience in software design, wireless applications software development and internet communications technologies.

We currently employ over 30 full time staff, providing real-time media support services to over 135 Philippine based broadcast networks.


PLATFORM
txtjock.com is a web based service requiring only a computer with an internet connection to operate. Because the service supports fully unattended operation, it does not require an operator OR full time internet access to setup or administer.


REQUIREMENTS
The txtjock.com internet website has been optimized for use with Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or above. The website will load and operate successfully on systems using an 800x600 display mode, but should use a 1024x768 display mode or higher, for optimum performance.


ADMINISTRATION
txtjock.com is a fully stand alone system that does not require any outside intervention to setup or administer. It has been developed to provide maximum flexibility, permitting the system Administrator to setup and manage unlimited contests and promotions, to setup and operate real-time polls and to automatically receive, manage and store incoming messages and song requests without any outside assistance.

SPECIAL FEATURES
For television, txtjock includes a number of additional features, including:

- Language Filter
txtjock.com supports 2 types of message filtering, manual and automatic.

In the manual mode a system operator monitors incoming messages and approves each message prior to display. In this mode inappropriate language or prohibited text received as part of incoming messages, can be easily added or appended to the language filter by the system operator.

In the automatic mode, the system checks each incoming message against a programmable language database and supports a number of display options.

- Custom Display
txtjock.com supports an unlimited number of custom display formats, to ensure maximum flexibility.
